Go For Gold

“Yesss” I said to my brother with excitement  on our way to school. I wondered what our topic  for this term will be? When we got to school  we looked around the classes to see if there were any clues to see what our topic for this term could be. I was excited to discover that we would be learning about the “Go for gold”because I thought its going to be something boring. Go For Gold is mainly about not giving up. This is our first week at school so our teacher is still telling us more information about the olympics and he also gave  everyone in our class  an opportunity to find a challenge to make goals like sprinting,pushups,pullups and  others things.

I decided to do sprinting because it’s got something to do with the olympics  and I also want to improve my sprinting. For my challenge I have to sprint as fast as I can from one side of the school netball caughts  to the other and back until I decide to stop. Its going to be difficult but im still gonna try my best.

I have a feeling that this is going to be a great and fun term. I hope that you enjoyed my writing and feel free to comment.

My Favourite Place

Our topic for this term is Art Alive and we have been given a task which is to take a picture of our favourite places around  Pt England school, and then write about it. The reason why we are doing this is because our school is having an Art Gallery next week on  Monday.

It wasn't easy to choose a favourite place around the school because there was many cool places to choose from, but there was a place I got a picture,and it was the school hall for my favourite spot.

My final desion was the school hall because we have played games in there when it would rain and when there was school assemblies and other thing to in there.My favorite games to play in the school hall was dodgeball.

Everyone has a favourite place around the school grounds but I think there is not a better place than my favourite spot.

Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief

In our class we were given a task to read a novel. This is my first time to read a novel. My group was reading a book named Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. I’ve really been enjoying reading this novel.

Let me tell you about this story. It is about a 12 year old kid named Percy Jackson who is ALWAYS in trouble.
In grade 5 there class went for a tour at the Saratoga Battlefield Percy had an accident with a war canan he accidentally shoot the school bus and before that he had another accident in grade 4 when there class went for a tour at the Marine World Shark pool he hit the wrong lever on the catwalk and the class took an unplanned swim. On the next trip he was planning to be good or he will get kicked of the school it was his last warning.

My favorite part of the story is when Percy Jackson blew up the bus because I reckoned that sounded interesting.

Even if this story sounds a bit scary it's still a good story and some of the things that were happening was in his brain, But anyway I hope that you liked it.

Pablo Picasso was one of the greatest and famous artists of the world. He is widely known for his cubist movement and for the wide mixture of style that he helped develop and explore.

Its like Picasso was an artist when he was born, his first word was piz short for lapiz the spanish word for pencil. His father Ruiz, an artist and art professor, gave him a good education in art at the age of 7. At the age of 9 picasso drew his first painting named le picador.(a man riding a horse)

Pablo Picasso died on 8 April 1973 in France when him and his wife Jacqueline invited  friends for dinner. His final words were "Drink to me, drink to my health, you know I can't drink any more.

Crash Victim May Have Been Racing

On Tuesday night a young victim was killed by crashing his car in a power transformer at Patiki Rd at about 9pm in Auckland.

Some witnesses believe that he may have been racing another car. The police has allowed any one who saw what happened can tell what he saw. A red car was seen with a damaged bumper was seen around by at the time of the accident and its driver came forward, despite police appeals. The Police is steel trying to find the second vehicle.

The police think that the red car was involved in the race.

The crash killed the power the lights on the lanes into the city and it caused the closure of the motorway for seven hours.
