The Walk To Mission Bay

It was one of those hot and boring weekends and I didn't know what to do. “What should I do today” I asked my mum.
Um, I don't know she replied. “If you go and hang the laundry on the clothesline I'll take use to Mcdonalds”, said my mum. But I don't want to go Mcdonalds”. “If i do it can I go visit my friends”? Um yes, she replied.
So I quickly rushed into the laundry, picked up the basket and hanged them on the clothesline. So I quickly run back inside and told my mum I'm finished. “Now you can go, remember be back before dark”. “ OK” I replied. I took a few steps towards the door then I stopped and ask my mum If I can use the internet. “Why not son. She answered. So I quickly hopped on Facebook I looked if any of my friends were on line. There were quite a few friends on but I decided to pick kaiden because he's a cool friend and his funny. “Kaiden its a bit boring aye I was wondering if you could come to mission bay with me”? I asked. “Okay I'll just ask my mum”,He replied. So he asked his mum and she said yes. I jumped offline,said bye to my mum and took of to Kaiden’s house.
When I arrived there Kaiden was already waiting for me outside his house. So we started walking. “Which beach should we go to”? I asked Kaiden. Um, how about mission bay, Ooh okay, so we started walking, It was a twenty minutes walk but it was still fun.

The year 8 Camp

Yes, I'm so excited about the year 8 camp coming up in a few weeks time, i'm really looking forward to it, I can't wait. Every year in our school before the year finishes there is always a camp for the year eight students so I am hoping that this year it will be the best one to be remembered for ever.

This is week five and our camp is in week seven, so that means we got two more weeks to get ready, pack our things and pay of the money. I'm so happy about camp that i'm already finished packing its going to be really fun.

This morning all the year eight students had a little meeting with Mrs.Nua about camp. She told as some of the things that are going to be there. There going to be a hydro slide, a pool, and paintball.

Our camp is going to be held up north, its going take a long time to get there, I heard its a two hours ride. The reason why We are looking forward to this years camp is because of all the great games especially all the swimming activity that we can go on for as long as we want to.

So when the time comes I am hoping that we all will have fun with one another and no one gets hurt.

The Brave Wolf

Many years ago there lived a family of Wolves. The Alpha Wolf was called Homer, the Mother Wolf was Dora and the baby Wolf was named Fearless, they lived with their grandpa Jacky. One morning grandpa went looking for food to bring to the family. He got ready, packed his bag, got his knife and spear, then took of to the hunting area, “Bye grandpa” said Fearless.
“Bye” said grandpa Jacky. So he took off.

When he arrived at the hunting field, he saw a very nice looking sheep a few steps away from him. “Mmm yummy” he said as he quickly grabbed his spear, he pulled his arm back with heaps of force then suddenly, “ROOAR”
Grandpa paused for a moment. “Who was that? Hello is anyone there? Show your self!” shouted Jacky.

Unexpectedly a huge polar bear leaped towards Jacky’s back. He jumped away and the bear fell beside him. Jacky faced the bear he didn't want to run because of his reputation as a professional kung fu fighter. He karate chopped the bears left ear off, “ROAR” The bear got angry, and tried to punch Jacky but he dodged it. When Jacky was defending himself, he gave the bear a hard knee-kick to the chin, breaking his neck, the beard suddenly fell to the ground, grandpa had something different for dinner.

That evening Homer, Jacky’s son, came back from work very tired. As he slumped on the couch for a rest a loud knock at the door alerted them to a visitor, Dora opened the door then screamed at the sight of a polar bear standing in front of her, laughter began to be heard as she quietened down. So grandpa Jacky threw back the head on his shoulders, wearing the polar bear as a cloak. ”Don’t worry my little one, I have returned with dinner.”

Lost In Rainbows End

There was once two brothers called Charlie and  Kalem.

On Saturday they were allowed to go to Rainbows End. They were looking forward to going on all the rides. When the time came, they both got ready and headed to the Theme park.

So when they finally arrived, the first ride they always loved to go on was the Roller Coasters. The next was the Invader which was followed by the fear fall because they both thought they would be fun.

Later that day they both went around on terrifying rides. When they got of one of the ride’s they both got lost and started looking for each other until they were getting further and further away from one another in the biggest play land in Auckland.

“KALEM where are you?” shouted Charlie. Suddenly everyone at Rainbows End started turning to the person yelling at charlie then they both heard “Kalem, Charlie” as they were running with joy and hugging each other happily.

“Oww!!” Kalem screamed as he banged his head on the wall on the top bunk in the room from waking up from a dream of what might happen tomorrow.
